The Cedar's

The Cedar tree is a  national heritage of Lebanon and it has been a symbol of Lebanon since ages. The Cedar tree appears on Lebanon's national flag.  The Cedar forests are located 37,000 ft above the sea level and the terrain is tough as it is mountainous belt and the roads are spiral leading to the cedars.  Cedar forests are covered with snow and the temperature there goes down to -20 or -30 degrees.  On the way to the cedar forests is a Hill Top Restaurant which caters the passers by with a special Traditional Lebanese food served in a very special way.  A sheep will be slaughtered in front of your eyes and within no time various dishes are  made with the fresh meat and will be served to you in an hour's time but don't worry you will not be hungry biting your nails, you will be served with a variety of traditional Lebanese salads and by the time you are through with the special salads your lamb is ready.
